Hi All,
It's day one... The main purpose of this blog, is to share information with anyone just generally interested in Genealogy- maybe some helpful hints and tips for your research or the problems we face that come with researching your family history. Or perhaps I am linked to your family in some way . I hope that people researching the same subjects, families, and geographical areas as I am will find this site and will be encouraged to get in touch.
I am linked to Find A Grave and I will be very happy to take a photo of a headstone, if you have a relative buried in one of the cemeteries in New Braunfels, Texas or surrounding area. You have my permission to use any gravestone photos I have taken. Credit is not required. (my find a grave ID 49337454)
I will also add a list of useful resources which are my go to's most of the time.
FreeBMD that trancribes the Civil Registration index of births, marriages and deaths for England and Wales.
Suffolk Family History Society A group of amateur genealogists whose objectives are to promote and encourage the study of family history, genealogy, heraldry and local history with particular reference to Suffolk; and promote the preservation or archive material.
